Kitten Rescue Volunteer Liability Waiver

Please read the following carefully. If the volunteer is under age 18, a parent or guardian must sign a waiver.

Injury and Illness: Rescue cats may carry transmissible diseases which may be spread to personal pets. Volunteers agree to take proper precautions to minimize these risks and will not hold Kitten Rescue responsible for any illness to personal pets or any other animals under the volunteer’s care.

Working with animals may be dangerous and lead to injuries or illness. By signing this agreement, each volunteer and their families understand and agree to personally assume all of the liability and risk associated with volunteering at Kitten Rescue. Further, each volunteer and their families agree to hold harmless Kitten Rescue, its directors, board members, officers, and any other volunteers from any responsibility or liability for any illness, injuries, or death which may occur as direct proximate result of their involvement with Kitten Rescue. Volunteers are encouraged to be current on their tetanus shot.

Property: Kitten Rescue is not responsible for lost or stolen property. Any property donated to Kitten Rescue becomes the property of Kitten Rescue.

Volunteering: Kitten Rescue provides no compensation or benefits to volunteers.
